Celebrations for Woodfarm Barns in Stonham Aspal as they are handed a VisitEngland ROSE Award

A dog-friendly Suffolk holiday accommodation has been handed a prestigious award recognising their offering as one of the best in England.

Woodfarm Barns in Stonham Aspal is one of only 100 recipients of the VisitEngland ROSE Award 2022.

The award celebrates holiday stay providers across England where owners and employees provide outstanding experiences for their customers regardless of their star rating.

Carl Scott, the founder of Woodfarm Barns, is celebrating the award that he has called his 'proudest achievement' since opening in 2009.

“Being nice to people isn’t rocket science, but too often businesses forget how important it is,” he said.

“Since we opened, that is what we’ve done: be nice to people. And this award shows it pays off. It’s my proudest achievement since starting Woodfarm Barns and I’m delighted for the brilliant team who support me.

“Because it’s an award that recognises customer service, it shows all of our team that we are doing things the right way, and the effort we go to is appreciated by our guests.”

Woodfarm Barns includes six barns and two cottages set in rural countryside near the Suffolk town of Needham Market.

The accommodation offers private hot tubs, open fires, a two-acre meadow and can accommodate up to three dogs.
