Suffolk Police urge drivers to 'only travel if essential' after van collides with hedge on A1120 in Stowupland




Suffolk Police are urging drivers to 'only travel if essential' due to the icy roads after a van collided with a hedge this morning.

Officers were called at 7.15am to the collision between the roundabouts of the A1120 and A14 in Stowupland and the roundabout for Tesco.

There were no injuries and the vehicle is off the road awaiting recovery.

In a Stowmarket Police tweet, a spokesman said: "It it is still very icy on the roads so please drive carefully and reduce your speed.

"Only travel if essential and make sure you have sufficient time to make it to your destination safely."
