Emergency services alerted to three-vehicle crash on A14 in Bury St Edmunds




Emergency services are at the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the A14 in Bury St Edmunds.

Suffolk Police was alerted at 8.56am to the incident involving two cars and a van on the A14 eastbound just after the British Sugar factory.

A full closure is in place eastbound.

National Highways said it was shut between junction 43 at St Saviours Interchange and junction 44 at Moreton Hall.

Traffic was stopped westbound and then released.

A diversion is in place, with motorists advised to exit the A14 at junction 43 St Saviours and take the A143 into Bury St Edmunds to the A143/A1101/A1302 roundabout.

At the roundabout take the second exit and follow the A1302 through Bury St Edmunds to the A1302/A134 roundabout.

At the roundabout take the second exit and follow the A134 to rejoin the A14 eastbound J44 Moreton Hall.
