Man taken to West Suffolk Hospital afte falling in St Andrew’s Street North, Bury St Edmunds




A man was taken to hospital after he fell in a town centre this afternoon.

Police and the ambulance service were called to a medical incident St Andrew’s Street North, Bury St Edmunds, at around 2pm.

A police spokesperson said the force had received reports a person had collapsed opposite the town’s bus station, in front of the car dealership.

Officers briefly attended to assist, but it was predominantly an ambulance matter.

The ambulance service said the man fell and an ambulance was sent to the scene.

The man was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
