Anglian Water engineers fix burst water main which closed Out Westgate in Bury St Edmunds




Engineers have fixed a burst water main which shut a key road in a Suffolk town.

Out Westgate, in Bury St Edmunds, was closed yesterday due to the leak and a small sinkhole.

A spokesman said: "Two-way lights are currently in operation while final repairs are made to the road surface.

"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank local residents and road users for their patience while we complete this work."
