Bury St Edmunds estate agent wins customer votes for this year's ESTAS
Mark Ewin Estate Agents in Bury St Edmunds has been short listed for the 2020 ESTAS, the Oscars for the industry.
The short listing follows the independent agency’s triple win at the awards last year when it took best agency in the East of England, best agency in the county and third best office in the UK.
This year the business has been short listed for best office in the East of England.
The ESTAS are decided through a vote by home buyers and sellers and the winners are announced at a special dinner at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London in May.
Mark Ewin, owner, set up the business, which is based in St John’s Street, six years ago. The firm has seven staff and a current portfolio of 72 properties.
He said: “Last year was a difficult year with Brexit causing a lot of uncertainty. People were just delaying that decision. But this year has started incredibly well with a lot of people coming to the market and a lot of selling.”
The ESTAS recognise the best UK customer service from estate and letting agents, mortgage advisers and suppliers to the property industry.
Property expert Phil Spencer will host the awards at the event which offers networking opportunities for more than 1,000 property professionals.
