Further fog warning issued for Suffolk as Met Office warns of hazardous driving conditions and slower journey times

Fog is set to cover Suffolk this evening leading into tomorrow morning prompting concerns over driving conditions and journey times.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for fog in the East of England, including Suffolk, from 7pm this evening to 11am tomorrow morning.

Patches of fog are expected to form during the evening and then become more widespread overnight which could lead to travel disruption and delays.

The Met Office have warned drivers should expect impaired visibility leading to hazardous driving conditions and slower journey times.

Delays to buses and train services are also possible and there is a chance that flights may be delayed or cancelled.

Norfolk and Cambridgeshire will also be affected.

It comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for fog in Suffolk earlier in the week, and it warned of freezing fog this weekend.
