Mildenhall photographer Nigel Wallace creates Valentine's Day-themed doggy photoshoot
A quirky photographer has created some puppy love – with a Valentine's Day-themed doggy photoshoot.
Nigel Wallace, 57, has captured adorable pets against a romantic backdrop to celebrate the occasion.
The snapper, from Mildenhall, said: "This is the first of my 2025 themed shoots and people – and dogs – love them.
"I make it fun for the dogs and, as people love their dogs, these themed shoots get booked up very quickly. In fact, this Valentine's photoshoot was booked up within 90 minutes of me advertising it.
"It is a Valentine's backdrop and the dogs are on a platform I built with a red velvet throw covering it.
"I do get some very energetic dogs come through but we always get awesome images, just have to be quick sometimes.
"As a full-time professional dog photographer, I like to give back a little to charities where I can and these mini photoshoot sessions are a great way of doing it.
"I work with a local doggy day care centre, 'The House of Muddy Paws'. They allow me use of their barn to do these shoots and I get them to name which charities they want the money to go to.
"I run a series of themed shoots throughout the year, Valentines, treat catching, Halloween and Christmas. We usually raise well over £1,000 each year just from these photoshoots."
