Cross Penny Court assisted living development in Bury St Edmunds spreads festive cheer with Christmas fayre

Staff and residents at Cross Penny Court spread festive cheer at the weekend with a Christmas fayre.

The assisted living development invited residents, staff and visitors, including Bury St Edmunds Mayor Peter Thompson, to get into the Christmas spirit on Sunday December 11.

The fayre even featured a performance from Abbeygate Sixth Form College’s string quartet.

Suzanne Edge, duty manager at the centre, said: “The Christmas fayre went better than I could imagine.

“The homeowners of Cross Penny Court are a lovely generous group of people.”

The money raised at the event, which came to £330, will now be donated to St Nicholas Hospice.
