Essex nursing home is sold to to Healthcare




Stow Healthcare Group has acquired a fifth care home in the area.

It has added Attwoods Manor |Nursing Home in Halstead to its portfolio and this brings the care provider's bed capacity to 250.

The Stowlangtoft based business also owns Stowlangtoft Hall, Brandon Park nursing home, Ford Place in Thetford and Melford Court Care Home at |Long Melford.

Attwoods Manor is a 19th century country manor house registered for 65 residents. It will be renamed Halstead Hall

Roger Catchpole, managing partner of Stow Healthcare said: " We are delighted to have completed the purchase of a care facility with such great potential and look forward to turning this into one of the best care homes in Essex.

The acquisition of Attwoods Manor was facilitated by Ashtons Legal with NatWest assisting with funding.
