Fire crews battle Suffolk workshop blaze for more than four hours

Fire crews have damped down at the scene of a blaze in a Suffolk village.

Crews were called just before 7am to a workshop-style building in Yaxley.

Six crews from Stradbroke, Eye, Debenham, Stowmarket and two from Diss brought the fire under control in Old Norwich Road.

No-one was hurt, officials said.

Crews used hoses and breathing apparatus and contained the fire, which was 100m square and 4m tall at the height of the blaze.
