Firefighters battle field and hay bale blazes
Firefighters were called to two separate field and hay bale fires in West Suffolk today.
The first was a 25 acre stubble fire, in Donkey Lane, Stanningfield, which was reported at 1.19pm.
Thirteen vehicles attended the incident and the blaze took about two hours to bring under control.
Crews have also been dealing with a fire involving stubble and 120 bales of hay, in Tostock Road, Beyton.
The incident was reported at 1.29pm and three vehicles have attended.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said the stubble fire had been extinguished and they are monitoring the hay while it burns out.
Farm machinery was used to create fire breaks.
The fire was under control by 5.03pm.
