Firefighters called to forest fire at Brandon Country Park

Firefighters were alerted to a forest fire at a country park.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident at Brandon Country Park at 11.54am.

Two crews from Brandon and Mildenhall attended.

A spokesperson said a small area of undergrowth was on fire in the forest.

Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the area.
