Firefighters called to Bury St Edmunds Abbey Gardens to help rescue deer trapped in fence

Firefighters were called to help rescue a young muntjac deer trapped in a fence in the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds .
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident at 9.13am today.
The deer was trapped in a fence by the pond garden in the beauty spot.
Park staff managed to free the deer which then ran off.
The fire service did not need to assist.
