Bury St Edmunds firefighters extinguish skip fire on Moreton Hall Industrial Estate

Firefighters extinguished a fire in a skip on an industrial estate in Bury St Edmunds this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to a refuse fire on Moreton Hall Industrial Estate at 10.22am and two crews from Bury St Edmunds attended.
A spokesman said: "A skip containing carpet waste was well alight upon arrival.
"Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and took precautions to stop the fire spreading or reigniting."
The incident was dealt with by 11.22am.
