Mildenhall firefighters rescue cat trapped down manhole

Firefighters rescued a cat trapped down a manhole today.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the incident, in Hundred Acre Way, in Red Lodge, at 2.07pm.

A crew from Mildenhall managed to extract the cat safely.

They left the scene at 2.31pm.
