Compiegne Way, in Bury St Edmunds, to be closed for nearly three weeks due to urgent pump works

A flood-hit Bury St Edmunds road is to be closed for nearly three weeks while urgent works are undertaken.

The A143 at Compiegne Way – which was closed over the weekend due to flooding – will be closed from Monday until April 8 for pump maintenance/replacement works between the Hollow Road and Steve Lumley roundabouts (north-westbound carriageway only).

The road will be closed from 9am-5pm each day.
