A Suffolk-based treetop experience business has launched its newest high rope challenge at its Thetford Forest site, which it says is its most difficult yet.

Go Ape has opened its 'Challenge Plus' course at High Lodge, with new and dynamic obstacles to test the most seasoned participant.

Stu King, Go Ape Thetford site manager, said, "It is great to see our adventures continuing to evolve here at Go Ape Thetford.

"It's still in our DNA, 20 years on from when we first opened. Our latest high ropes experience has certainly been dialled up. This one's tough. It's physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. One to certainly test your mettle and one to challenge, surprise and excite."

The course will include some crossings, involving cargo bags and a wrecking ball, where people will have to jump from one to another, and others will be at irregular heights all testing concentration and skill.

The new course is for anyone over 1.2 metres, over 16s can go on unsupervised with 10 to 15-year-olds needing a one to one supervision ratio.
