South Lee School, in Bury St Edmunds, announces new headteacher starting next April




The former deputy headteacher of an independent Bury St Edmunds school is to return to take up the helm.

Jo Coventry-King will take on the headteacher role at South Lee School in April next year.

Mrs Coventry-King left the school in 2017 and will return having been deputy head at Framlingham College Prep School.

Ruth O'Sullivan, current headteacher, said: "South Lee is a very special school, and it means a huge amount to me.

"I could not be more pleased to have the privilege of handing over South Lee to a true educationalist who cares passionately about giving the best possible education to our pupils and I am really looking forward to working with Jo."
