Bury St Edmunds MasterChef quarter-finalist Hannah Gregory returns to the show as a judge tonight
A former MasterChef quarter-finalist from Bury St Edmunds is returning to the BBC show tonight on the other side of the judging panel.
Hannah Gregory, who runs her successful supper club business WanderSups, is a regular food columnist for the Bury Free Press and got to the latter stages of the TV competition in 2020, will be part of a 20-strong dining panel of past contestants as this year's semi-finals week of the programme beginnings.
The 10 remaining contestants are set to feel the heat again in a new challenge as the studio for the show is turned into a restaurant to feed the hungry diners.
On the experience, Hannah said: "It was nice to be back without all the pressure, obviously I was feeling quite nervous for the people who were in the kitchen.
“I have always joked that the main reason I went on MasterChef was that I could go back and eat other people’s food, so with this that has worked out pretty well.”
Judge John Torode will run the pass for the challenge, with the contestants split into three groups responsible for the starters, mains and desserts.
To find out how they get on, watch MasterChef on BBC One tonight, at 8pm.
