Bury St Edmunds company creates unique postcard for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

The founder of a well-established tea and coffee company in Bury St Edmunds has produced a special postcard to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Robert Butterworth who runs Butterworth Collectable Cards, an autonomous division of Butterworth and Son Ltd, has created a postcard which celebrates all aspects of the Queen and her various roles.

It features hand drawn images by the organisation’s top artists.

Mr Butterworth will donate 200 of the cards to a street party in Whiting Street South in the town organised by the Churchgate Area Association.

He said as a card producer, the jubilee was a ‘once in a lifetime event - too good to miss’.

The cards can also be specially printed with the names of businesses or organisations.

Mr Butterworth has since retired from the coffee and tea business, but produces the small cards that go in the tea packets which, over the years, have covered a range of subjects.
