Mobile phones stolen from shoppers in Primark, Bury St Edmunds, at the arc Shopping Centre





Police have confirmed a series of mobile phone thefts from Primark customers in Bury St Edmunds.

A spokesman for the police said four people had phones stolen while inside the store at the arc Shopping Centre, on Monday.

The phones were stolen within a one hour window - between noon and 1pm.

Police said two female suspects have been identified, both were dressed in black and aged in their mid-to-late 20s.

One of the women wore a green baseball cap, leather jacket and black trousers. The other wore a cream baseball hat.

Primark in Bury St Edmunds opened on March 6, attracting more than 5,500 shoppers on its opening day.
