Everything you need to know about the Helmingham Hall Illuminated Garden Trail 2022




Yesterday evening this year's Helmingham Hall Illuminated Garden Trail opened to the public.

Running until December 18, the trail on the historic estate near Stowmarket, promises enchantment and complimentary mulled wine.

Visitors will get the chance to walk around the beautifully lit gardens and 'absorb the magical sights and sounds'.

There will even be a chance for families, or couples, to toast marshmallows around a fire pit.

Refreshments will be available on the way around the trail, with food options provided by Wright's Cafe and the Flying Chef.

There is also a bar which is cash only - it is recommended to bring cash for the food stalls as well.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome to attend and are encouraged to deck themselves out in festive lights.

Organisers say that most buggies and wheelchair users will be able to get around the trail without any problems however there will be staff on hand to offer assistance if needed.

The Illuminated Garden Trail is open every evening except Mondays and Tuesdays, with the earliest entry slots at 4.30pm.

Last entry on Wednesdays and Thursdays is 7.45pm, on Fridays and Saturdays 9pm, and on Sundays 8.30pm.

Parking for the event is free.

Tickets for the trail must be booked in advance and can be purchased on the Helmingham Hall website.
