Girl's foot run over in Grove Road in Bury St Edmunds

A vehicle ran over a 12-year-old girl's foot in Bury St Edmunds as police appeal for witnesses to the incident.

The crash happened yesterday at around 8.35am in Grove Road.

The girl was in the road when the vehicle ran over her foot leading to minor injuries.

The driver did not stop but no details were recorded, however the vehicle has been described as dark blue.

Police would now like to speak to the driver involved and anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
