Bury St Edmunds Golf Club take on Hole in one challenge to raise money for MyWish

Several members of Bury St Edmunds Golf Club have been trying to score as many holes-in-one as possible all to raise money for charity.

This year’s captains, Guy Lesser and Carmel Plant, have secured sponsorship towards their chosen charity - MyWish which supports West Suffolk Hospital.

The funds have been provided by Treatt which will be donating £50 for each hole-in-one scored during the captain’s year.

The idea came from Guy, a retired GP, who himself knows the excitement of scoring holes-in-one.

The 14 members taking part have already achieved £700 with six months to go.
