A group of people who police wanted to identify as potential witnesses to a serious assault at a town bar have come forward.

The incident was at Nightjars, in St Andrew’s Street South, Bury St Edmunds, at 9.56pm on Friday, August 30.

A male victim, aged in his 20s, was punched in the face and his jaw was broken.
