Bury St Edmunds Guildhall looking to recruit trustees
Following a major refurbishment, the Guildhall in Bury St Edmunds is looking to recruit new trustees to assist in running the facility.
The Guildhall has been in continuous operation for almost 800 years, and it currently hosts a variety of community events and functions.
A restoration of the complex was finished in 2018, and this process was enabled by the trustees, who oversaw the works.
Now, the Guildhall is looking to recruit new trustees.
In particular, they are looking for individuals with experience in the fields of IT, marketing, fundraising, heritage events and historic building maintenance.
The Guildhall is operated as a charity, and is entirely self-funded.
Therefore, the practical contributions of trustees are crucial for its success.
To inquire about becoming a trustee, email general manager Jill Badman, or call her on 01284 247037.
