A Bury St Edmunds gym could be converted into a retail unit under new plans.
The application was made by K/S Cratfield to convert the Sports Direct Fitness gym in Easlea Road on the Moreton Hall estate.
The 1.58 acre site was originally developed as an industrial estate in the early 1980's and has previously been occupied by Lark Valley Foods.
It was used as Nissan car showroom until being changed into a gym in 2000.
The site has enough car parking space for over 100 vehicles.
