Headteacher at Sybil Andrews Academy, Bury St Edmunds, lauds testing regime following positive coronavirus result

The headteacher of a Bury St Edmunds school has lauded its coronavirus testing regime after one student received a positive result and a class bubble was sent home.

The Year 9 class bubble was sent home from Sybil Andrews Academy yesterday after a pupil took a lateral flow test at home and tested positive.

Trenica King, headteacher, said: “After a monumental effort to get every student tested three times as they returned to school, we have been pleased with how students have continued the testing regime at home.
