A high-end mountain bike worth £750 has been stolen from a Bury St Edmunds resident's garden.

The green Whyte bike was taken from a property in Sicklesmere Road at some point between 11pm last night and 7am this morning.

The bike was locked to a secure mount bolted to a solid wall behind a 6ft garden gate.

Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of the bike is asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting crime reference 37/14421/21.
