Fans of historic cars are being spoilt this Sunday.

Bardwell's annual Cars on the Green, supporting village groups, expects more than 180 cars, plus motorbikes and an RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota flypast at about 1.40pm.

Gates open at 10.30am. Entry is free and village organisations have stalls on the green and other fund-raising events nearby.

Elveden Classic and Vintage Car Show, organised by the NSPCC and Bury Abbey Rotary Club, is on in Elveden Estate's walled garden from 10am to 3pm.

All proceeds go to the NSPCC, and charities supported by The Rotary Club of Bury St Edmunds Abbey, including SARS, Gatehouse and the Theatre Royal.

Tickets are adults £5, children under 16 £3 and a family ticket for two adults and up to three children is £13.
