Brave Futures launches Snow Dash at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds




Suffolk residents are invited to kick off December with some festive fun while raising money for a good cause.

Brave Futures, a charity focused on helping survivors of childhood sexual abuse, has launched the Brave Futures Snow Dash which will take place at Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds at 11am on Sunday, December 1.

The festive 5k run encourages participants to don Christmas costumes and enjoy snow cannons, festive music, entertainment and plenty of surprises for the whole family.

Whether you run, walk or jog, everyone who completes the course will earn a special festive medal in recognition of their efforts and contribution to the cause.

Hannah Walker, fund-raising and marketing manager at Brave Futures, said: “By joining the Snow Dash and raising funds, you are helping us offer vital services to these brave young survivors and their families.

“One in 10 children is affected by sexual abuse.

“Every contribution helps us make a difference in their recovery.”

Adult tickets are priced at £15 while children’s tickets are available for £8.
