Greene King brings Eat Out to Help Out scheme to these six Bury St Edmunds pubs
Six Greene King pubs in Bury St Edmunds will offer 50 per cent off food and soft drinks, up to the value of £10 per person, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays next month.
The brewery and pub chain will bring the offer to six pubs around town in August as part of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.
Greene King, which has already confirmed its openings will comply with social distancing measures, has said burgers and fish & chips will be among the items on the menu.
The Government has introduced Eat Out to Help Out as a way of supporting hospitality businesses after Covid-19.
The participating pubs will be the Dog & Partridge, The Fox, The Bushel, Spread Eagle, The Greengage, and Tollgate.
Customers do not need a voucher to use the scheme and it can be used at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is no minimum spend.
A spokesperson for Greene King, said: “We welcome the introduction of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and we hope that it will be a great encouragement for customers to support the nation’s pubs.
“Our pubs are at the heart of their communities and through this discount we hope that it will broaden the opportunity for locals to enjoy a long overdue and well-deserved meal with their loved ones.”
