Bury Free Press cartoonist John Elson has come up with an Easter treat for you this week.

While there's plenty of doom and gloom in the headlines, John takes a different view.

Here's something to make you smile over the bank holiday weekend.

John, a self-taught artist, has been drawing cartoons for newspapers for nearly 20 years.

His cartoon today is sponsored by specialist insurers The Assist Group.
