Inquest into death of Bury St Edmunds man opened today

An inquest into the death of a 47-year-old man who was found dead at his home was formally opened today.
The body of Darren Cooper was discovered in a bedroom at an address in Steward Road, Bury St Edmunds, on April 29 by a family member.
The inquest, which was opened at Suffolk Coroners Court in Ipswich, heard that Mr Cooper died as a result of hanging.
Assistant Suffolk coroner Kevin McCarthy adjourned the inquest until August to allow the completion of reports.
