Ipswich Town player James Norwood's drink-driving disqualification is suspended
Ipswich Town star striker James Norwood has had his drink-driving ban suspended today, pending appeal.
The 31-year-old was banned from being behind the wheel for 40 months after he was found guilty of drink-driving in July and fined £5,000.
It came after the player was pulled over by police in the early hours of August 30 last year, after driving back from Aurora nightclub, in Ipswich, and found with 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
But today at Ipswich Crown Court, the Cockfield-based player's disqualification was suspended until his appeal on November 26.
