Festive attire was out in force for a Fornham St Martin-based charity’s Christmas jumper day on Friday.
GeeWizz, which has its headquarters near Bury St Edmunds, enjoyed its most successful annual festive fund-raiser yet, with people donning seasonal knitwear and making donations to the charity, which supports children and young adults across Suffolk who are living with a disability, have a life-limiting illness or cancer, or supporting those working to treat or research cancer.
The day has already raised £3,537 for GeeWizz, with donations still rolling in.
The funds will allow GeeWizz to fund a fun-filled family day for children the organisation supports, with Jimmy’s Farm hosting the event next spring.
Aileen Belsberg, of GeeWizz, said: “We are so thankful to everybody who chose to support GeeWizz this Christmas.
"Not only was it brilliant seeing all the Christmas outfits but it has also enabled GeeWizz to fund a fun family day out.
"We are so excited to be able to provide this special experience for our beloved families.”
