The Hestia Clinic completes move into former Mings Oriental in Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds

A cosmetics clinic has completed its dream move into a former town centre restaurant.

The Hestia Clinic held an open day at its new Abbeygate Street, Bury St Edmunds, premises today.

SuffolkNews was given an exclusive look at the clinic’s transformation of the former Mings Oriental restaurant, which includes a dedicated wellness lounge and several new treatment rooms.

It is hoped Hestia’s new premises will be operational from Tuesday, and its former Langton Place site will be used for admin purposes.

Lauren Aristotelous, co-director of The Hestia Clinic, said: “It’s really nice to see it all come to life, to vision we wanted is here.

“We want to make this our main flagship clinic; we’ve always focused on quality more than quantity, everything we have is top specification.

“We wanted to show people these treatments can be safe and acceptable – it’s something that we should celebrate, feeling good about yourself.”

Lauren paid tribute to the team at the clinic, without whom she said the move to Abbeygate Street would not have been possible.

She added herself and Kostas Aristotelous, medical director at Hestia, had previously struggled with space constraints at former premises to match their professional ambitions, but the new site will enable them to fulfil these.

“It’s very rewarding,” he said. “We’re giving back the love our clients give to us, we invest and it’s rewarding.

“We’ll be able to provide the whole spectrum of treatments now, from non-invasive to surgical.”

The new wellness lounge is on the upper ground floor while the dedicated treatment area is on the lower ground floor, which includes four brand-new treatment rooms and a fully equipped minor surgery suite, which will help Hestia provide the highest level of care.
