Eat drink and feel good.

That’s the motto of a new healthy juice and food store set to open its doors in Bury St Edmunds.

Work is now complete on the new Juicebros store in the arc which has been intriguing shoppers for weeks. It sells a range of healthy drinks and food including plant based organic bowls, smoothies and freshly made juices.

“There has been loads of interest since we took the blinds down with people popping in to ask about the store,” said owner Omer Serbetci.

“I have been hoping to open a store in the town for several years now and when this site became available, I jumped at the chance to take it”

Juicebros was founded in 2006 and is based at RAF Lakenheath.

The company has a contract with the US military and also has outlets at military bases in eight locations around the world, including Germany, Italy and USA.

The Bury store will be its first public commercial outlet and Omer has plans to open others in Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Norwich.

The new store is at the site of the former Jessops photography shop, which closed in August 2020.

“We have 12 staff who are all local and we have been working on training in the run up,” said Omer, who also lives in the town.

“It’s a great location and we have refurbished the unit from top to bottom over the past two months.

“We sell a range of healthy juices, including smoothies, freshly made-to-order, with no additives, as well as healthy food including made-to-order salads, side bowls and grain bowls. We also sell speciality coffees.

“Our focus is always on health.”
