Out Westgate in Bury St Edmunds shut due to small sinkhole and burst water main




A key route in a Suffolk town has been closed due to a reports of a small sinkhole and burst water main.

In a tweet, a St Edmundsbury Police spokesman said Out Westgate in Bury St Edmunds was shut due to the incident.

They added that Suffolk Highways and Anglian Water were aware and 'responding as soon as possible'.

They advised motorists to find an alternative route.
