Kitchen window prised open during burglary in Park Avenue in Fornham St Martin near Bury St Edmunds
A kitchen window was prised open and cash stolen from inside a home during a burlgary in Fornham St Martin near Bury St Edmunds.
The incident was between 4.10 and 8pm yesterday at a house in Park Avenue.
Suspect(s) managed to enter the home by damaging and jemmying open a kitchen window.
A jemmy is a short crowbar used to force open a window or door.
An untidy search was carried out in a bedroom and cash was stolen from inside.
Suffolk Police are urging witnesses or anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident who saw anything suspicious to contact them quoting crime reference: 37/11018/22.
