A learner driver who already had six points on their licence was reported for several alleged motoring offences.
Suffolk police pulled over the driver of a Fiat in Bury St Edmunds.
They were reportedly driving on a provisional licence and were being supervised at the time.
A spokesperson for Suffolk police said they passed a breath test.
However, officers noted they were not displaying learner plates, which is a legal requirement – and every time they indicated, their brake light flashed.
It is also believed they were driving without insurance.
The existing points on the driver's licence were from speeding, they added.
