Bury St Edmunds Nostalgia - Former St Edmundsbury Borough Council leader gets degree from the University of East Anglia

In today's nostalgia we transport back to 1995 when the former leader of St Edmundsbury Borough Council proved it's never too old to learn after passing his university degree.

John Knight, 78, from Bury St Edmunds, was awarded a 2:2 BA Honours Degree in English, History and Landscape Archaeology by the University of East Anglia, in Norwich, at its awards ceremony.

He said: “It’s never too late to study – I’ve proved that.
