Costa Coffee reveals opening date of latest drive-thru off junction 45 of the A14, near Bury St Edmunds

A major coffee chain has confirmed the opening date of its latest outlet on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds.

The new Costa Coffee drive-thru, off junction 45 of the A14, is set to open on Thursday, December 19.

It is the latest food outlet to open near the junction after petrol station with Greggs opened in December 2022, followed by a McDonald’s drive-thru in October this year.

The shop will create 16 new jobs.

A Costa spokesperson said they are thrilled to be opening just in time for customers to enjoy its Christmas menu.

It added: “With a bright and modern look and feel to the store, as well as indoor and outdoor seating available, customers can relax in-store or use the convenient drive-thru lane to pick up their favourite brew on-the-go.

“We look forward to welcoming customers to our brand-new store next week.”
