A143 at Stanton remains closed after serious crash involving motorbike and lorry




A busy route in Suffolk remains closed this morning after a serious crash between a motorbike and a lorry.

Police were called at just before 7.55pm yesterday to the incident on the A143 just south of Stanton.

The road was shut in both directions between the junction with the A1088 near Ixworth and the B1111 at Stanton with drivers advised to find an alternative route.

A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said the road remains closed this morning.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision, along with anyone driving in the area just before the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
