A14 between junction 43 and 44, near Bury St Edmunds, reopens following closure due to police-led incident

A major carriageway has reopened following its closure due to a police-led incident.

At around 5am, National Highways said the A14 between junction 43 and 44, near Bury St Edmunds, was closed in both directions.

Major delays were reported in the area and traffic was being diverted.

The carriageway has reopened after 8am.
