Man arrested yesterday released on police bail after door to Lorfords in Bury St Edmunds smashed and bag of items stolen




A man who was arrested yesterday has been released on police bail after a bag of items was stolen from a Bury St Edmunds newsagents.

The items, which included cigarette packs, were stolen from Lorfords in Central Walk at about 3.20am yesterday.

The glass in the door was smashed in the process.

The 33-year-old was bailed until December 7 pending further inquiries.

A police cordon was in place in front of the shop.
