Baris Akin, of Glastonbury Road, Birmingham, accused of drug dealing in Bury St Edmunds taken into custody




A man accused of drug dealing in a town has been taken into custody pending a crown court hearing.

Baris Akin, 36, of Glastonbury Road, Birmingham, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, namely cocaine.

It related to an incident in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday.

Akin was taken into custody and his case sent for trial at Cambridge Crown Court on May 27.

He was denied bail.

Akin was represented by Saunders Goodin Riddleston Solicitors.
