A 37-year-old man from Woolpit will be sentenced for a firearms offence next month.
Paul Lambert, of Mill Lane, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today. He pleaded guilty to possession of a 12-bore shotgun with intent to cause fear of violence in Bury St Edmunds on July 19.
Judge John Deveaux ordered the preparation of a probation service report on Lambert before he returns to the same court to be sentenced next month.
Judge Deveaux told Lambert he would continue to be granted bail until his next court appearance.
