Badwell Ash collision: Man airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries




A man was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries after a van collided with a tree in Badwell Ash this morning.

Police were alerted shortly after 10.30am to the single vehicle crash, in Badwell Road.

The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and the Essex and Herts air ambulance and a man was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital, in Cambridge.

A police spokeswoman said the man suffered 'life threatening injuries' and the road remains closed.
